Cheese & Ham Potato Lasagna

Ingredients:                                                                                                                      Gluten Free

  • 5 large organic potatoes, washed and peeled
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (optional)
  • 8-10 slices organic ham
  • 7-8 slices organic mozzarella cheese
  • 5 slices cooked organic bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups organic shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup non GMO heavy cream
  • 2 organic eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  2. Slice the peeled potatoes into thin slices about ½ centimeter and season with salt and pepper
  3. Form a layer of potatoes on the bottom of a greased, square baking dish
  4. Next place half of the ham slices on top of the potatoes, followed by half of the cheese slices
  5. Add another layer of potato slices, then the remaining ham and cheese slices
  6. Sprinkle the bacon and parsley on top of the sliced cheese, and place one final layer of potatoes on top
  7. Add the shredded cheese on top of the potatoes and spread evenly
  8. Now in a small bowl mix together the heavy cream and eggs. Pour on top of the shredded cheese
  9. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the cheese on top is deep golden brown
  10. Cool slightly, slice and serve
