4 Simple Homemade Chewy Granola Bars

Ingredients:


Base:

  • 2½ cups rolled oats
  • 2½ cups puffed rice cereal
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip:

  • ½ cup non GMO peanut butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Berry:

  • ½ cup dried cherries
  • ½ cup dried blueberries
  • ½ cup dried cranberry’s

Peanut Crunch:

  • ½ cup non GMO peanut butter
  • ½ cup pretzels, crushed
  • ½ cup all natural sundrops

Smore’s:

  • ½ cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup gram crackers, crushed

Directions:

  1. For the base, in a large mixing bowl combine your rolled oats, puffed rice, honey, coconut oil, brown sugar and salt until evenly mixed
  2. For the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip granola bars, mix ¼ of the base mixture with peanut butter and chocolate chips and stir until fully combined
  3. Transfer to a square or rectangular baking dish lined with parchment paper and set aside
  4. For the Berry granola bars, mix ¼ of the base mixture with dried cherries, dried blueberries and dried cranberry’s and stir until fully combined then repeat step 3
  5. For the Peanut Crunch granola bars, mix ¼ of the base mixture with non GMO peanut butter, crushed pretzels and all natural sundrops and stir until fully combined then repeat step 3
  6. For the Smore’s granola bars, mix ¼ of the base mixture with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and crushed gram crackers and stir until fully combined then repeat step 3
  7. Bake each bar mixture for 5-8 minutes at 350°F/175°C
  8. After baking let the granola bars cool and cut into desired shape
