Brushing while wet:
When our hair is wet it is much more delicate and prone to breaking. So instead of brushing it while it’s wet, brush out your hair before washing, this will make your hair much less tangled when it’s wet.
Ironing your hair may make it shiny and less frizzy but what it is actually doing is burning of those little baby hairs and making the frizziness worse in the long run. Try using an oil like coconut oil or argan oil to smooth out the frizz instead.
#3 Blow drying on high heat:
Blow drying is great if you are in a hurry and need to dry your hair. But when used on high heat and placed too close to the hair, it can burn the hair, making it brittle, frizzy, thin and delicate. Try blow drying it on a low setting and holding it at least 8 inches away from your hair – in the end this will give practically the same result but without damaging your hair.
#4 Commercial hair spray:
Commercial hair sprays have a lot of harmful chemicals in them like petrochemicals, silicone and plasticizing agents. Most commercial hair sprays can actually be used to remove stains, to think we put that in our hair! Instead try using a natural or organic hair spray, my personal pick is Intelligent Nutrients – Perfect Hold Hair Spray
